Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir tempo and Ninja tribal strategy commanded by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary plan relies on landing a cheap, unblockable creature on Turn 1 and activating Commander Ninjutsu on Turn 2 to cheat Yuriko into play tapped and attacking. Each time Yuriko or another Ninja deals combat damage, she draws the top card of the library and burns each opponent for its mana value. The deck supplements this symmetric clock with high-impact Ninjas such as Fallen Shinobi, Ingenious Infiltrator, and Mist-Syndicate Naga, using evasion equipment like Whispersilk Cloak and Lightning Greaves to ensure repeated connections. While the deck possesses explosive early starts and circumventable commander tax, it lacks dedicated topdeck manipulation and fast mana, relying instead on natural high-mana-value reveals and combat damage over multiple turn rotations to close out the table.
