Deck overview

This Simic deck focuses on ramping into Koma, Cosmos Serpent while supporting a broader +1/+1 counters and token theme. Once on the battlefield, Koma generates an overwhelming board presence by creating 3/3 Serpent tokens on every player's upkeep. These tokens provide offensive power, defensive blocking, and fodder to tap down key opposing threats or protect Koma with indestructible. If Koma is answered, the deck pivots toward scaling Hydra beaters like Voracious Hydra and Hungering Hydra, doubling their impact through Primal Vigor and The Earth Crystal. The deck excels at mid-game creature combat and steady card flow through engines like High Score and Fathom Mage. However, the list lacks instant-speed countermagic and fast mana, meaning it develops at a deliberate pace and is vulnerable to exile-based board wipes.
