Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan Toughness Aggro strategy commanded by Felothar the Steadfast. It turns low-power, high-toughness defenders into formidable offensive threats by assigning combat damage equal to toughness and allowing defenders to attack. Early turns focus on establishing mana dorks and card-drawing walls like Overgrown Battlement and Wall of Blossoms. Once Felothar enters the battlefield on turn 4, the deck transitions into an aggressive beatdown plan, supported by redundant toughness-damage enablers such as Bedrock Tortoise and Doran, Besieged by Time. Evasion from Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa makes low-power attackers virtually unblockable, while Baldin, Century Herdmaster and Towering Titan amplify total damage to lethal levels. The deck also features asymmetric board control using Slaughter the Strong and Aura Shards, as well as substantial card draw from Felothar's activated sacrifice ability, allowing it to maintain pressure and rebuild quickly after removal.
