Deck overview

A Golgari Wolf/Bear tribal midrange deck built around The Chief Warg's ferocious attack trigger. The primary plan is to drop an early ferocious creature (Beorn, Goreclaw, or Lumra), draw cards off The Chief Warg, and build a wide Wolf/Bear token board with Garruk, Doubling Season, Chief Warg's Company, and Dancing from Dark to Dawn. The usual finish is a massive Overwhelming Stampede, often boosted by Garruk's +3/+3 emblem, targeting 40 damage at each opponent. A secondary line uses Natural Order to cheat in Lumra or Evercoat Ursine for a quick giant attacker. The commander is mainly a draw engine and Menace attacker; the deck functions without him but loses speed.
