Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet Artifact Storm build centered on Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain. The strategy leverages Jhoira's historic cast trigger alongside a dense package of 0- and 1-mana artifacts and cost reducers like Etherium Sculptor and Helm of Awakening to churn through the library in a single explosive turn. Acceleration from fast mana like Sol Ring, Mox Opal, and Mishra's Workshop allows Jhoira to enter the battlefield on Turn 3. On Turn 4, the deck initiates a storm sequence, utilizing self-bounce spells such as Hurkyl's Recall and Rebuild to reset all played artifacts, generating massive storm counts and floating mana. The primary win condition is Aetherflux Reservoir, which gains enough life across the storm chain to deal 50 lethal damage to each opponent on the same turn. The deck is backed by efficient countermagic like Fierce Guardianship and Swan Song, though it remains susceptible to Rule of Law effects and well-timed removal targeting Jhoira.
