Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Grixis artifact midrange and combo strategy commanded by Mishra, Eminent One. The primary game plan revolves around casting inexpensive noncreature artifacts that provide immediate value on entry and death, such as Ichor Wellspring, Cryogen Relic, and Cursed Mirror. Once Mishra enters the battlefield, his combat ability creates a temporary 4/4 Construct copy of any noncreature artifact each turn. This continually triggers enter-the-battlefield effects, provides aggressive 4/4 combat pressure, and triggers sacrifice abilities on the end step. In the mid-to-late game, Mishra transitions from value generation into decisive board control and win conditions by copying devastating artifacts like Portal to Phyrexia and Reaver Titan. In addition to combat and attrition damage, the deck houses a clean two-card infinite combo between Astral Dragon and Cursed Mirror that creates infinite hasty flying Dragon tokens to close the game on the spot.
