Deck overview

This deck is a specialized competitive polymorph combo list built around Nissa, Leyline Tamer. By running exactly one creature in the 99—Hoarding Broodlord—the deck turns its commander's first landfall trigger into a 100% deterministic tutor directly onto the battlefield. Once Hoarding Broodlord enters, it exiles Saw in Half, which convokes with Nissa and the Dragon to create two token copies. These tokens fetch Underworld Breach and Lion's Eye Diamond, initiating a deterministic storm loop with Brain Freeze to mill out every opponent in a single turn. The list is supported by rapid artifact mana and rituals to cast Nissa on Turn 4, alongside a compact backup win condition in Demonic Consultation and Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. A dense suite of low-cost counterspells, targeted removal, and Orim's Chant ensures the combo resolves cleanly through opposing interaction.
