Deck overview

This deck is an Esper lifegain, control, and combo build commanded by Oloro, Ageless Ascetic. Rather than spending mana to cast Oloro, the deck utilizes his eminence ability to gain 2 life each upkeep directly from the command zone. This steady life flow fuels powerful card advantage engines like Well of Lost Dreams and Cosmos Elixir, while enabling asymmetric life-loss taxes through Kambal, Consul of Allocation, Polluted Bonds, and Starscape Cleric. Defensive enchantments like Propaganda, Authority of the Consuls, and No Mercy establish a formidable pillowfort that blunts opposing aggression. The deck closes games reliably using a two-card infinite drain loop: pairing Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Enduring Tenacity. Once assembled, any single lifegain trigger or damage instance drains all three opponents to zero life in an unbroken chain. Supported by efficient countermagic and protection, the deck excels at outlasting aggressive tables and assembling an airtight finish.
