Deck overview

This Golgari deck utilizes Dina, Soul Steeper to convert incremental lifegain into steady, table-wide life loss. The primary strategy establishes low-cost token generators such as Ophiomancer and Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, linking them with sacrifice outlets and card-draw engines like Skullclamp and Dark Prophecy. As the game transitions into the midgame, powerful token engines including Beledros Witherbloom and Tendershoot Dryad flood the battlefield with fodder. The deck rapidly depletes opposing life totals through layered drain triggers from Blood Artist, Marauding Blight-Priest, and Funeral Room, culminating in explosive finishes with Plumb the Forbidden or Pest Infestation. A robust removal package featuring Assassin's Trophy and Toxic Deluge keeps opposing threats in check, while deep functional redundancy ensures steady recovery from board wipes.
