Cult of the False God by twarbird

Format: Commander

Commander: Karona, False God

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Karona, False God leads a five-color goad-and-angel token build. The primary plan is to tax attacks with Propaganda, Ghostly Prison, Vow effects, and goad so the table fights itself while you double angel and soldier tokens with Doubling Season, Mondrak, Divine Visitation, and Exalted Sunborn. Karona is a haste-enabled political weapon: keep her pointed away with Vow of Lightning or donate her through Jon Irenicus, then let her buff whatever creature type you need. Sifa Grent acts as a hidden backup commander with goad and free-cast potential; Sephiroth's transform adds a death-drain finish. The deck usually wins with a mass token attack such as Visions of Glory, or with commander damage after goaded creatures soften the table.
