Deck overview

This deck is a high-power mono-black aristocrats and combo engine commanded by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER. The primary strategy aims to assemble an infinite death-and-crime loop using Phyrexian Altar and Forsaken Miner. Sacrificing the Miner generates {B} while triggering Sephiroth's life drain, which registers as a crime and enables the Miner to return to the battlefield repeatedly. Dense fast mana and premier black tutors ensure rapid setup by Turn 4. The deck features powerful alternate win conditions, including the two-card infinite combo of Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, alongside Bolas's Citadel lines. Defensive tools like Defense Grid, Deadly Rollick, and Opposition Agent protect the combo turn and derail opposing game plans.
