Deck overview

This is a Rakdos group-slug deck built around Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls. The plan is to make every opponent lose life on each of their turns, converting that life loss into card draw and +1/+1 counters on the commander. The deck runs a dense package of draw-punishers and upkeep pokes - Underworld Dreams, Spiteful Visions, Stormfist Crusader, Roiling Vortex, and Orcish Bowmasters - then multiplies the damage with Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and Wound Reflection. It wins by grinding the table down and finishing with a large Chandra's Ignition on a grown Valgavoth, an Exsanguinate, or a Sower of Discord-assisted drain. The deck is a midrange attrition engine: it does not combo, but it keeps the hand full and turns every incidental life loss into a real clock.
