Commander: The Scorpion God

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos -1/-1 counter control deck helmed by The Scorpion God. The primary strategy is to establish a board presence of creatures with wither and -1/-1 counter generation, using cards like Blowfly Infestation, Nest of Scarabs, and Everlasting Torment to convert any damage into -1/-1 counters while drawing cards off the commander's death trigger. The deck wins through incremental damage from Purphoros, God of the Forge and token swarms, or by locking opponents out with Kulrath Knight's attack/block restriction. It lacks instant-speed stack interaction and relies on sorcery-speed removal and board wipes to control the board.
