Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons leads a Golgari attrition and combo strategy centered around -1/-1 counters and token generation. The primary plan uses Hapatra to generate an army of 1/1 deathtouch Snakes whenever counters are placed on creatures, simultaneously shrinking opposing boards and building a massive battlefield presence. The deck converts this advantage into a win through combat overruns with Unnatural Growth and Brawn, or through infinite death loops using Blowfly Infestation alongside Hapatra, Flourishing Defenses, and Cauldron of Essence. Secondary value engines like Necroskitter and Massacre Girl, Known Killer steal opposing threats and maintain card velocity throughout the game.
