Deck overview

This Dimir spellslinger deck is commanded by Lord of the Nazgûl, converting every cheap instant and sorcery spell into a 3/3 black Wraith creature token with menace. The strategy accelerates into its commander by Turn 4 using mana rocks and rituals, then chains low-cost cantrips such as Ponder, Preordain, and Brainstorm to rapidly flood the board with evasive creatures. The deck features 9 copies of Nazgûl, allowing every Ring tempt trigger to buff all Wraiths with +1/+1 counters. Once the army reaches nine Wraiths, the commander transforms all Wraiths into 9/9 attackers to overwhelm the table. A dense interaction suite featuring free countermagic like Force of Negation and Pact of Negation protects the commander while generating additional tokens on opposing turns.
