Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Boros Dwarf tribal and Treasure-based aggressive midrange strategy commanded by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost Dwarves, establishing mana rocks, and setting up Equipment. Once Thorin enters on Turn 4 or 5, every subsequent Dwarf generates Treasure tokens while Thorin grants an escalating +1/+0 anthem to the entire Dwarf army for every artifact token controlled. The deck converts broad boards into decisive combat damage around Turn 6, accelerating lethal pressure with tribal payoffs like Dáin of the Ancient Halls, Bruenor Battlehammer, and Taunt from the Rampart. Interaction is anchored by premier white spot removal and red damage sweepers, while protection spells like Boros Charm and Mithril Coat defend key permanents. The deck relies on fair combat arithmetic and token accumulation rather than infinite combos, winning through overwhelming physical board presence.
