Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated five-color Dragon tribal deck commanded by Tiamat. Its strategy centers on building an early mana base through an abundant suite of 2-CMC mana rocks and land ramp, allowing Tiamat to be cast reliably on Turn 5. Upon entering the battlefield, Tiamat tutors a tailored hand of five legendary Dragons that cover all offensive and defensive angles, including Dragonlord Dromoka for turn silence, Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund for immediate team haste, and Scourge of the Throne for chained combat steps. Once assembled, the deck creates massive flying pressure that dismantles opposing life totals over two combat cycles. While it relies primarily on combat damage and carries modest instant-speed interaction, its extreme tutor consistency from the command zone and built-in protection mechanics give it high resilience and lethal closing power in standard casual multiplayer tables.
