Deck overview

This Sultai landfall/value deck, helmed by Glarb, Calamity's Augur, leverages top-deck manipulation and extra land drops to accelerate into high-impact spells and giant creatures. Glarb's surveil ability and permission to cast 4+-mana spells from the top of the library provide steady card selection, while a suite of landfall engines-Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait, Tatyova, Benthic Druid, Oracle of Mul Daya, and The Gitrog Monster-turn every land drop into card advantage. The primary win conditions are Craterhoof Behemoth trampling over opponents, a massive Finale of Devastation (X 10) granting haste and a huge pump, or a high-X Genesis Wave or Villainous Wealth burying the table. Thassa's Oracle and Laboratory Maniac provide an alternate self-mill finish, though the deck can also grind out games through steady pressure from oversized threats like Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Lord of Extinction.
