Deck overview

This deck uses Avacyn, Angel of Horror to turn sacrificed nontoken creatures into delayed recurring fodder. The main engine combines Grave Pact, a sacrifice outlet such as Viscera Seer, and a cheap creature such as Blood Pet. Each sacrifice scries, causes every opponent to sacrifice a creature, and returns the fodder at the next end step. Ashnod's Altar, Phyrexian Altar, Pitiless Plunderer, Pawn of Ulamog, and Warren Soultrader improve the mana economy, while Skullclamp, Village Rites, and Corrupted Conviction provide card flow. The plan is powerful against creature-based boards but is expensive and slow to assemble. It does not contain a supported infinite combo or a reliable table-kill outlet. The deck is best played as attrition control: establish sacrifice infrastructure, preserve the commander with Lightning Greaves, and use reanimation and sweepers to recover after exchanges.
