The Mountain King by irisible

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads an aggressive Boros Dwarf tribal strategy that converts low-cost creature drops and equipment into an overwhelming battlefield presence. The deck curves out early with Dwarves and utility equipment, leveraging token producers and artifact generation to prepare for Thorin. Once the commander arrives, every entering Dwarf creates a Treasure token, simultaneously accelerating mana and providing an escalating anthem effect across the entire dwarf army. The primary win condition is closing out opponents through wide combat attacks amplified by power buffs, double strike enablers like Reyav, Master Smith, and burst finishers such as Embercleave.
