Deck overview

Y'shtola, Night's Blessed is the command-zone drain/draw engine of this Esper control deck. The primary plan is to stabilize with pillowfort pieces and a dense counter/removal suite, then turn every MV3+ noncreature spell into damage, card draw, and lifegain. Kambal and Papalymo amplify that drain, Mai and Liesa tax every spell on both sides, and Jin-Gitaxias' front face adds a second draw trigger. The hidden build-around, Jin-Gitaxias // The Great Synthesis, refills the hand and eventually converts it into free spells. Aetherflux Reservoir and a late Torment of Hailfire are the main closers. There is no compact infinite combo; the deck wins through incremental damage and large late-game spell chains.
