Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Mardu combat aggressive strategy commanded by Isshin, Two Heavens as One. The core game plan accelerates mana on Turns 1 and 2 to deploy Isshin on Turn 3, immediately following up with powerful attack-trigger permanents on Turn 4. Isshin doubles all triggers caused by attacking creatures, transforming token producers like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon into overwhelming army-in-a-can threats. Card velocity is sustained through doubled draw triggers from Breena, the Demagogue, The One Ring, and Skullclamp converting expendable tokens into raw cards. The deck finishes games between Turns 5 and 7 by overwhelming opposing life totals with wide board states, direct life drain from Arabella, Abandoned Doll, and multiple combat steps via Aurelia, the Warleader, Combat Celebrant, and Waves of Aggression. It also features an infinite combat win condition using Helm of the Host attached to Aurelia, the Warleader.
