Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Dwarf tribal and Equipment strategy commanded by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The game plan focuses on establishing low-cost Dwarves and utility Equipment during early turns, curving directly into Thorin to generate Treasure tokens and grant scaling power boosts across the entire board. As artifact tokens accumulate from combat connections and Dwarf entries, the team rapidly grows to lethal sizes. Supported by powerful Equipment like The Reaver Cleaver and Hammer of Nazahn, alongside secondary engines such as Magda, Brazen Outlaw and Bruenor Battlehammer, the deck maintains strong offensive tempo. To close out games, it leverages explosive combat finishes with Akroma's Will or sweeping burst damage from Chandra's Ignition. A dedicated instant-speed protection suite tutored by Sunforger, including Teferi's Protection and Boros Charm, guards the board against removal and sweepers while securing a dependable multi-turn clock.
