Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Phyrexian tribal and proliferate midrange strategy commanded by Atraxa, Praetors' Voice. Its primary game plan is to infect every opponent with early poison counters using low-cost toxic creatures like Blightbelly Rat or spells such as Vraska's Fall, then steadily tick those counters up to 10 using Atraxa's end-step proliferate and supporting engines like Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus and Evolution Sage. The deck features powerful board wipes that advance its own game state through Incubator and Mite tokens, specifically Sunfall and White Sun's Twilight. Stax pieces like Phyrexian Censor slow down faster combo decks while leaving the mostly Phyrexian creature base unaffected. While the deck relies on keeping key creatures in play to close the game and runs primarily sorcery-speed removal, its win condition is permanent and virtually impossible for opponents to reverse once poison counters are distributed across the table.
