Format: Commander

Commander: Brenard, Ginger Sculptor

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Brenard, Ginger Sculptor is a Bant token-combo commander who converts creature deaths into 1/1 Food Golem copies that double as artifacts. The deck weaponizes these tokens with +1/+1 counters, token doublers, and artifact synergies to overwhelm opponents. The primary plan is a midrange death-trigger loop: sacrifice creatures to generate Food Golems that grow the board, then finish with explosive combat tricks such as Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus or an army of Golems. The commander itself is both the engine (providing death triggers) and the finisher (buffing tokens with +2/+2 and trample). The hidden commander is actually Elspeth, Storm Slayer: any deck ability that can double the produced tokens benefits hugely from both it and Parallel or Pentagram. Academy Manufactor triples value out of each Food/Clue/ Treasure trigger, while driven by Bilbo, Fellow Conspirator and Tireless Provisioner.
