Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Stompy list led by Zilortha, Strength Incarnate. The strategy focuses on casting aggressive, high-power creatures ahead of curve and using Zilortha's lethal damage inversion to keep glass-cannon threats like Ball Lightning and Groundbreaker alive through combat. A dense ramp package with Sol Ring, Three Visits, Goblin Anarchomancer, and cost-reducing Medallions establishes an operational board on Turn 4. The deck creates a critical threat on Turn 5 with large creatures like Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Gigantosaurus, or power doublers like Unnatural Growth. Haste enablers such as Rhythm of the Wild and direct damage spells like Chandra's Ignition push through lethal damage to close out the game around Turn 7. While the deck features strong anti-countermagic tech and resilient recursion, it has limited instant-speed creature interaction and remains vulnerable to exile-based sweepers.
