Format: Commander

Commander: The Serpent Society

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Serpent Society leads a Golgari combat and attrition strategy built around deathtouch synergy, forced sacrifices, and poison counters. The commander acts as a powerful rattlesnake deterrent, forcing each opponent to sacrifice a nontoken creature whenever one of your deathtouch creatures dies, while its brutal ward ability penalizes targeted removal. The deck accelerates early deathtouch and toxic threats into play, leveraging Fynn, the Fangbearer, Bloated Contaminator, and Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon to swiftly distribute ten poison counters to each opponent. Engines like Ohran Frostfang and Toski, Bearer of Secrets refill your hand, converting combat efficiency into insurmountable board presence.
