Deck overview

This is a general-power Kellan, the Kid value deck built around casting spells from exile and using Kellan, the Kid to put permanents from hand onto the battlefield for free. Foretell, plot, suspend, cascade, and top-library cards provide many ways to create the required non-hand cast. A representative line foretells Depart the Realm, casts Kellan, the Kid, then casts Depart the Realm from exile to deploy The Reality Chip or Arcane Signet without paying its mana cost. The deck has good ramp and a broad but uneven interaction suite. Its main weakness is that the engine produces advantage without a compact, reliably accessible win. Expensive threats such as Apex Devastator and One with the Multiverse can create powerful turns, but they require too much mana and too many unassembled roles to define ordinary execution. The deck is therefore a value-focused midrange build rather than a fast combo or lock deck.
