This mono-black lifegain drain deck uses Gollum, Obsessed Stalker to turn every point of life you gain into end-step life loss for opponents marked by his skulk combat damage. You gain life with lifelink creatures, extort, and Swamp-scaling drains, then amplify it with redundant drain engines like Defiling Daemogoth, Marauding Blight-Priest, Starscape Cleric and Sanguine Bond. Secondary paths close games with Gray Merchant of Asphodel devotion, large Exsanguinate/Blood Tithe bursts, and the Shard of the Nightbringer half-life swing. Gollum is the primary engine but not the only one; Defiling Daemogoth and the Priest/Cleric/Bond package act as hidden commanders that keep the plan running without him.
