Deck overview

This Boros Goad Control deck leverages the powerful synergy between Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer and Noble Heritage to dominate multiplayer combat. By curving Noble Heritage into an accelerated Baeloth on Turn 4, the deck automatically grows Baeloth into a massive threat while passively goading every opposing creature with lesser power. Opponents are forced into lethal combat against one another, stripping each other of blockers and life totals while Baeloth generates a steady stream of Treasure tokens from dying creatures. The deck shields its commander using a format-ceiling suite of low-cost protection spells, redirects, and phasing effects, many of which are tutorably cast from the library using Sunforger. Once the table is softened by forced combat, the deck finishes off the surviving players with commander damage, double strike enhancements, or a devastating Chandra's Ignition.
