Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet spellslinger storm deck commanded by Veyran, Voice of Duality. Veyran doubles all Magecraft triggers and instant or sorcery triggers, supercharging mana generators like Storm-Kiln Artist and draw engines like Archmage Emeritus. The deck accelerates its mana using format-staple fast mana artifacts and red rituals. Its primary route to victory is assembling an Underworld Breach storm loop with Brain Freeze and Lion's Eye Diamond. Once Breach resolves, the deck repeatedly casts Lion's Eye Diamond for mana and Brain Freeze to mill its own library. After accumulating high storm and mana, it mills out all opponents or casts a lethal Crackle with Power or direct burn spell on the same turn. Powerful free counterspells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat, along with Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun, protect the combo from enemy interaction.
