Commander: Satoru Umezawa

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Satoru Umezawa is a ninjutsu tempo deck that uses unblockable one-drops to cheat large creatures into play. Satoru gives every creature card in hand ninjutsu {2}{U}{B} and filters the top three cards once per turn, so you attack with Changeling Outcast or Triton Shorestalker and swap in Archon of Cruelty, Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, or Silent-Blade Oni tapped and attacking. Natural ninjas like Mistblade Shinobi and Thousand-Faced Shadow work without him. Silver-Fur Master acts as a hidden commander by cutting ninjutsu costs and pumping ninjas. Secondary paths grind value with Kaito planeswalkers and card draw, or assemble a Peregrine Drake loop for infinite mana that still needs a combat payoff to win.
