Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Voltron and modified-creature aggro strategy piloted by Araña, Heart of the Spider. The primary objective is to cast Araña on curve, modify her through her innate attack trigger or cheap Equipment, and generate incremental card flow by connecting in combat. As the game progresses into the mid-turns, high-impact equipment like Sword of Vengeance and Plate Armor or massive stat auras like All That Glitters turn Araña or Champion of the Flame into a lethal commander damage threat. Because the deck lacks infinite combos and extra combat phases, it must eliminate opponents one by one over consecutive combat steps, making it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes. Low mana ramp density and limited tutoring require careful resource management, but cohesive modification synergies and dedicated defensive spells provide a stable, aggressive game plan.
