Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Voltron and historic synergy strategy led by Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful and Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh. The game plan exploits Rograkh's {0} casting cost to trigger Yoshimaru on Turn 1, quickly chaining low-mana legendary permanents to grow Yoshimaru into a lethal threat. Supported by powerful combat multipliers like Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, Reyav, Master Smith, and Blackblade Reforged, the deck applies immense early pressure, threatening commander eliminations as early as Turn 4. The list includes resilient asymmetric sweepers such as Urza's Ruinous Blast and Damning Verdict, which break parity by wiping opposing boards while preserving your own. While the deck possesses explosive starts and strong single-target protection, it relies heavily on natural card draw to find top-end finishers and can be vulnerable to sustained creature interaction or heavy token blocking.
