Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mono-Green Stompy strategy commanded by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The game plan accelerates mana on Turn 1 with mana elves, then deploys hyper-efficient, high-power creatures on Turns 2 and 3—such as Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Surrak, the Hunt Caller. Building 10 or more power on the battlefield discounts Ghalta down to just two green mana, allowing the 12/12 trampling Elder Dinosaur to enter on Turn 4. The deck refuels using power-based draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond that trigger on oversized creatures. Victory is achieved through devastating combat steps amplified by massive pump spells like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth to eliminate all opponents by Turn 7. While vulnerable to board wipes and lacking stack interaction, its dense redundancy of high-power threats maintains continuous aggression.
