Deck overview

This Grixis spellslinger deck is built around Fire Lord Azula's unique ability to copy spells while attacking, turning each combat into a burst of value. The core plan uses rituals (Dark Ritual, Seething Song, Pyretic Ritual, Desperate Ritual) to generate explosive mana on the turn Azula attacks, then chain copied spells - from Lightning Bolt to Comet Storm - for a one-turn kill. The deck supplements this with a flash-heavy creature suite (Notion Thief, Hullbreaker Horror, Kess, Dissident Mage) that provides instant-speed interaction, card advantage, and recursion. Copy effects like Narset's Reversal and Twinning Staff amplify the storm turns, while Etali, Primal Storm and The Infamous Cruelclaw offer alternative value engines. It's a high-synergy, tempo-oriented deck that aims to control the early game with flash pieces and then close out with a massive copied-spell turn.
