Witherbloom by user1436072

Format: Commander

Commander: Witherbloom, the Balancer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Witherbloom, the Balancer commands a Golgari token swarm and big-mana spell strategy. The deck focuses on assembling a wide board of creature tokens using enablers like Bitterblossom, Sengir Autocrat, and Deranged Hermit. Because the commander gives instant and sorcery spells affinity for creatures, building a critical mass of tokens drastically discounts high-impact haymakers like Plague Wind, In Garruk's Wake, and Collective Unconscious. The primary win condition revolves around clearing opponent boards with one-sided board wipes while maintaining an insurmountable token army, pumping them with Rude Awakening, or executing lethal mass-drain lines with Death Cloud and Living Death.
