Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis artifact-midrange strategy centered around Dr. Eggman, who turns end steps into guaranteed card advantage and punishing villainous choices. Supported by a robust core of two-mana ramp and artifact cost-reducers like Etherium Sculptor and Enthusiastic Mechanaut, the deck aims to cast Dr. Eggman on Turn 4 or 5. Once active, opponents are forced into a difficult bind: discard cards each turn or allow enormous Constructs, Robots, and Vehicles such as Myr Battlesphere, Knight Paladin, and Thunderhawk Gunship to enter the battlefield for free. High-impact artifact payoffs like Simulacrum Synthesizer quickly build an imposing board of scaling tokens, while cards like Waste Not and Tinybones, Bauble Burglar exploit opposing discards. The deck lacks fast combo lines, relying instead on compounding board pressure, broad attrition, and evasive combat steps to eliminate the table by Turn 8.
