SMAUUUG by MemerGeist

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos spellslinger/storm deck built around Smaug the Impenetrable's noncombat-damage trigger. The primary plan is to turbo out Smaug with a dense ritual package, then resolve a repeatable damage enchantment (Pestilence or Pyrohemia) and loop: each activation deals 1 to Smaug, creating a Treasure, which is sacrificed for mana to fuel the next activation - generating infinite damage to all creatures and players. Crime Novelist, Mayhem Devil, Mirkwood Bats, and Reckless Fireweaver convert the Treasure stream into additional reach. A secondary storm line via Underworld Breach and Past in Flames with Grapeshot wins through the graveyard. Smaug is also an 8/7 flying, indestructible, haste beater that attacks the turn it lands.
