Deck overview

This Baylen, the Haymaker deck is a high-synergy Naya go-wide token strategy that converts creature and artifact tokens into mana, card advantage, and lethal combat damage. The primary game plan establishes early ramp and cheap token generation, deploys Baylen by Turn 3, and reaches a fully operational engine on Turn 4. Because Baylen taps tokens without summoning sickness restrictions, newly created tokens immediately refund mana and replenish the hand. On Turn 5, the deck transitions into critical onset by deploying decisive overrun finishers such as Jetmir, Nexus of Revels, Beastmaster Ascension, or Purphoros, God of the Forge, threatening table-wide elimination within one response cycle. A dense suite of protective spells like Teferi's Protection and Boros Charm insulates the wide board against board wipes, while Aura Shards systematically strips opposing artifacts and enchantments. The list relies on deep raw card draw rather than specific tutors to access its win conditions reliably.
