Deck overview

This Mardu deck is built around Kaalia of the Vast's ability to cheat high-impact Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield attacking. The primary game plan is to ramp into Kaalia, protect her, and then use her attack trigger to deploy overwhelming threats like Master of Cruelties (which sets a player to 1 life), Aurelia, the Warleader (extra combats), or Scourge of the Throne (additional combat phases). The deck also supports a secondary win condition via Liliana's Contract (control four Demons with different names) and can grind value through Smothering Tithe, Ad Nauseam, and Dihada, Binder of Wills. With a dense protection suite and multiple board wipes, the deck aims to dominate combat and close games through repeated, explosive attack steps.
