Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula is a Grixis spellslinger commander that copies any spell cast while she attacks, turning instant-speed spells and flash effects into doubled value. The deck converts explosive burst mana and card draw into several redundant combo finishes. Primary win conditions include Underworld Breach storm loops, infinite combat steps via Aggravated Assault with firebending mana, and copy loops using Dualcaster Mage with Baral's Expertise or Relm's Sketching. Backed by cheap countermagic, Magecraft payoffs like Storm-Kiln Artist and Guttersnipe, and efficient Grixis tutors, the deck controls the stack before executing an explosive finishing turn.
