Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white lifegain and go-wide combat deck commander-led by Aerith Gainsborough. The core game plan pairs efficient lifegain engines like Soul Warden, Daxos, Blessed by the Sun, and Authority of the Consuls with token generators like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Oketra's Monument. These synergies repeatedly trigger Aerith, growing her into a massive lifelinking threat while stabilizing life totals. Mid-game force multipliers such as Cathars' Crusade, True Conviction, and Odric, Lunarch Marshal turn wide token boards into lethal attackers, threatening critical onset on Turn 6. Because the deck wins strictly through creature combat without infinite combos, closing out all three opponents requires multiple combat steps across two opponent response cycles, targeting a Turn 8 finish. Strong defensive options like Clever Concealment and Flawless Maneuver offer essential wipe protection, but the absence of nonland tutors and modest card draw velocity leave the deck dependent on natural top-decks.
