Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet Clone Control strategy piloted by Keranos, God of Storms. Rather than relying on fragile storm lines or fast two-card infinite combos, the list leverages Keranos's indestructible enchantment status to build an unyielding value and damage engine. Early turns focus on deploying mana rocks and cantrips like Ponder and Brainstorm to ensure a turn 4 Keranos. Once on the battlefield, the deck exploits non-legendary clone effects such as Spark Double, Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, Irenicus's Vile Duplication, and Auton Soldier to duplicate Keranos repeatedly. Multiple copies trigger on every draw step, raining down 3-damage bolts on opposing boards and drawing surplus cards on land hits. Backed by efficient counterspells and asymmetric wipes like Blasphemous Act, the deck converts high devotion into a squad of 6/5 indestructible beaters that close out the game through relentless combat and direct burn.
