Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov midrange strategy that combines Angel tribal synergies, Demon powerhouses, and static creature denial. Helmed by Drana and Linvala, the deck prevents opponents from using activated creature abilities like mana dorks and utility commanders while copying those abilities for your own benefit. The primary plan develops an evasive flying army buffed by anthems like Thraben Watcher, Barrensteppe Siege, and Sigarda's Summons. High-end bombs like Valgavoth, Terror Eater, Firja's Retribution, and Helm of the Host provide late-game inevitability. Because the deck runs an unusually low land count of 25 lands alongside high-cost creatures, hitting land drops is critical to reach its mid-game threats. Once established, the deck grinds down opposing life totals in the air while using spot removal and asymmetric graveyard hate from Leyline of the Void to disrupt opposing game plans.
