Deck overview

This deck executes a Mono-White Owling Mine strategy led by Tataru Taru. The game plan forces all players to draw surplus cards each turn using artifacts such as Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, and Temple Bell. While opponents receive extra resources, symmetrical stax pieces like Rule of Law, Archon of Emeria, and Sphere of Resistance prevent them from casting more than one spell per turn. Unable to empty their hands, opponents suffer heavy damage during their upkeeps from Iron Maiden, Ebony Owl Netsuke, Black Vise, and Viseling. Pillowfort elements such as Ghostly Prison, Windborn Muse, and Peacekeeper suppress incoming combat attacks, while Smothering Tithe and Tataru Taru convert forced draws into mana advantage. The deck closes games through relentless hand-punishment damage or by casting and quickly redrawing Approach of the Second Sun.
