Deck overview

This Gruul deck is an aggressive Dragon tribal stompy strategy led by Ruby, Daring Tracker. Ruby serves as an efficient, hasted mana dork in the command zone who scales into an offensive 3/4 attacker whenever a 4-power creature is in play. The primary plan leverages early ramp to accelerate into mid-sized Dragons by Turn 3 and devastating top-end threats by Turn 5. Cards like Atarka, World Render, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Scourge of the Throne rapidly multiply combat damage, while haste enablers such as Dragon Tempest and Hammer of Purphoros keep pressure continuous. The deck relies on natural card flow from engines like Elemental Bond and Dragon's Hoard, alongside explosive burst spells like Selvala's Stampede and Escape to the Wilds. While vulnerable to mass removal due to a lack of reactive protection spells, the deck's redundant big-mana threats and resilient land ramp enable swift recovery to close games out through overwhelming aerial aggression.
