Pests of Pruaa'Lyng by DrVillem

Format: Commander

Commander: Marrow-Gnawer

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Marrow-Gnawer commands a mono-black rat swarm that wins by exponential token production backed by fear evasion. The deck parks the commander untapped, attacks with incidental rats, then uses its tap ability after combat to go from a few rats to dozens, eventually overwhelming three opponents with attacks. Secondary lines are life-gain payoff: Aetherflux Reservoir can fire after a four-spell turn, and Plague of Vermin converts life into an instant board. Rat King, Pale Piper and Rat King, Verminister provide draw/recursion, while Revenge of the Rats and Tribute to Horobi restock the swarm after wipes. Aclazotz adds pressure and card advantage, but Marrow-Gnawer remains the core engine.
