Deck overview

This deck is a Bant midrange strategy focused on +1/+1 counters and creature combat, commanded by Yuna, Grand Summoner. Early turns establish mana through two-mana ramp spells and mana-generating creatures like Incubation Druid. Once Yuna enters the battlefield, her mana ability accelerates deployment while granting bonus counters to incoming creatures. The mid-game develops card advantage through triggers from Fathom Mage, Bred for the Hunt, and Tidus, Yuna's Guardian. As the battlefield expands, static abilities from Duskshell Crawler, Sphere Grid, and Chocobo Knights convert raw statistics into lethal evasive pressure. Asymmetric sweepers such as Damning Verdict clear opposing blockers while preserving modified creatures. Defensive tools like Inspiring Call and Protection Magic shield the board from removal, allowing the deck to close games through overwhelming combat damage across turns six to eight.
