Deck overview

This Scion of the Ur-Dragon deck is a five-color competitive Commander (cEDH) powerhouse blending high-speed reanimation engines with compact combo finishes. Built to compete at maximum efficiency, the deck pairs premium fast mana and a full fetch-and-shock land base with extensive universal tutoring. While the commander provides built-in graveyard tutoring for Dragon-centric loops, the list operates with total independence, featuring top-tier win lines such as Thassa's Oracle with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact, Underworld Breach storm loops, and Hoarding Broodlord chains. A dedicated protection package featuring Silence, Ranger-Captain of Eos, and Veil of Summer ensures win attempts push through opposing interaction safely on Turn 3. When forced into longer games, engines like Mystic Remora, Esper Sentinel, and Orcish Bowmasters generate continuous resource advantages.
